December, 7th 2021 | 10:00 AM PST / 1:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CET
The topic is: Data/Video Coaching Program - Designed by the Patroon Chapter - BMW Car Club of America.
For this webinar we are excited to have Bjorn Zetterlund and the Patroon Region and Matt Romanowski from join us and show a very new and innovative data/video coaching program designed by the Patroon Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America. Here is short, but brief biographies for Bjorn and Matt:
Bjorn Zetterlund, Ph.D., recently retired after 49 years as an electrical engineer in the RF semiconductor chip industry and has been a lifelong motorsport enthusiast. He started track driving at the first BMW CCA HPDE in 1974 at Lime Rock Park. Bjorn began using data acquisition (g-analyst) and in-car video in 1987 and started instructing later that year. Bjorn was the principal developer and presenter of the BMW CCA’s Instructor Training School (ITS) during 2007-2015. His focus over the past five years has been to expand the use of data acquisition in coaching HPDE students and instructors. Bjorn’s introduction to AiM was with a Mychron3 on his Rotax RM1 kart in 2005.
Matt Romanowski participated in his first track event when he was 18 years old at Lime Rock Park, Matt was hooked. Through crewing on a SCCA Formula Continental to supporting championship efforts in various categories from SCCA Regionals to Pro Racing, racing data has been at the center of motorsport for Matt. From the early AiM Sports Mychron 3 systems to the latest MXP dash loggers, SmartyCam videos, Power Distribution Modules (PDM’s) and everything in between, racing data has been what he does. Matt has worked hard to build to be the center for AiM Sports Sales, Support, and Coaching where his customers have won SCCA, NASA, Pro Racing, and other championships.

The core principle of all AiM Sports data training is to reveal that data acquisition will allow the user to determine what the vehicle is doing, when it is doing it and why it is doing it while using AiM Sports hardware and software.
This AiM Sports data seminar has been designed to be very interactive with real examples of actual racing data. The webinars are not just lectures, AiM Sports National Training Manager, Roger Caddell invites questions and comments from attendees and has found that group discussion of the examples helps everybody understand the information more fully.
The webinars are free self-explained You-Tube video courses.
Instead the LearnFastTM webinars are "traditional" courses managed by Roger Caddell.
