The Data Key's generous 32 MB of memory enables you to store days of racing data, or data from a full club of racers on one Data Key. The Data Key also enables you to easily update the firmware of your MyChron4. The USB Data Key only works with the MyChron4, and includes our Race Studio software. Available from your local karting shop, the USB Data Key retails for $79. [Read more on our website]

Microsprint Winner's Circle: Jason Brown

We got a great email from Don Brown about his son Jason, who recently put a MyChron TG LOG on his 250cc 4 stroke Microsprint. This past weekend, Jason won the Sportsman class at Lime Rock Speedway in Caledonia, NY. Don says: "It was only after studying the read-out of his heat race that we made the gear change and it proved to be the right choice." [Read more on Mike's blog]

Spec Miata Racing Winner's Circle: Andy Caddell

Seventeen year old Andrew Caddell started out the 2006 racing season with a bang, taking the checkered flag in the Oregon Region SCCA Spec Miata race at Portland International Raceway this past Sunday, April 23. His Spec Miata uses an AiM Sports MXL Pro data logger and digital display, and a DaVid video system. [Read more on Mike's blog, including a video of Andy's winning laps]

MyChron4 Now Available!

The MyChron4 is a powerful gauge and data acquisition tool designed for kart racing. It displays and records lap times, rpms and temperature from cylinder head (CHT), water or exhaust gas (EGT). Later this spring, an expansion box (E-Box) will add track mapping, speed and more temperature inputs.

Predictive Lap Timing: Run a few laps, and the MyChron4 studies your driving patterns to predict your time for the current lap. Extremely useful in qualifying so you can decide whether or not to burn up the tires on a hot lap, or let up and let things calm down so you can hit it hard next lap.

Oval, Sprint and Road Race modes: Custom tailored modes for a variety of racing styles. Oval racers have enjoyed our custom Oval Firmware for years, showing RPM drops for each lap as you race. Road racers will appreciate the integrated countdown timer in the race display.

Race Summary Screen: Come off the track and hit one button to see a screen that shows: best 3 laps with times, RPM highs and lows, drops and temp info. Most times, this is all the data you ever need to see, no need to touch a laptop.

Suggested retail for the MyChron4 is $349 which includes the gauge, rpm cable, your choice of temperature sensor (water, CHT, or EGT) and lap timer receiver. It is available now at your local karting shop. [Read more on our website]
